Install Vista whiteout the freeware?

I’m tired of all the add on’s on my FZ21Z, could I do a clean install from my recovery DVDs?

The main problem is that Vista is not just placed on these recovery DVDs - they are packaged as an "image" of your hard disk. So, the engineers install all the software they have agreed with the companies who provide them, like Norton, Google Inc and Roxio.
