Is it possible to use the Memory Stick station as floppy disk station?

That would be very cool for bootdisks and such things. I don't have a floppy disk on my VAIO A215M, but software like PartitionMagic strongly recommends to create bootdisks.

Other question: what about a USB floppy disk station? Does it only work in Windows, or can you boot from it?

I believe you can boot from a USB floppy disk as long as your BIOS supports it. Dont know about memory stick though. The easiest way would be to create a bootable CDRW, as the CD always boots first by default on new systems.

It has to be a very specific FDD made by Sony.
Check the Accessory matcher or call VAIO-Link for information.
