Keyboard buttons notworking

The special keyboard buttons such as volume control, brightness and als the CD/DVD eject button have stopped working. Also some of the fn buttons.
Any advice?:smileysad:

You need to install the Sony Hotkey Utility from your DVD

I have reinstalled the utilities package that was on the c drive and the problem is fixed. But I still wonder how they became deactivated as they worked originally with the machine.

Not sure, a lot of people have had this issue, I guess it's due to a disagreement between Windows and the Utilities package.

Something they need to look into in the labs.
