NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 - Gaming

I've recently purchased a FE31z and i want to try it to its full potential.

For gaming are there any limitations with the NVIDA 'Go' cards. I've heard that dont work with games needing DirectX 9.0c

What games would you suggest?

Mine has worked with everything I've thrown at it so far...

IL2 Sturmovik/Pacific Fighters
Everquest2
Company of Heroes
Oblivion

Runs all pretty darn well and certainly a lot better than the 9800Pro that's in my desktop

Thanks for your help. I only ask because I went in to HMV and the guy there looked at the spec and turned his nose up claiming that the 'Go' versions of the card are cut down versions of the desktop ones and wouldn't be able to handle the latest shading needs. I think it was shading anyway... whatever DirectX 9.0c needs (games like FEAR i think?)

Well, he is correct in the fact that they are cut down versions of desktop cards, but that doesn't mean that they don't support DX9.0c.

Shader model 3.0 which is as high as it gets so no worries there.

I'd suggest downloading the demo and seeing how it runs before buying though

You should not have any problems with Direct X.Try better Drivers.
