Sony PCG-3126 (PCG-SR11k) the Cardbus Slot does not recognize any Cardbus Cards.
When I attached the PCGA-CD51 Card (external Sony CD ROM) to the Notebook, sometimes the CD ROm Drive works fine and sometimes not.
Installed is 2000-SP4 and 2000 tells mwe under "PCMCIA-Adapter" Ricoh R/RL/RT/RC/5C475(II), R520 or kompatible Cardbus Controller. Is this the correct entry.
The Notebook was sent to a Sony authorisized Service Partner to change the Display. After we get it back, the Display is flcikering and the Cardbus Controller does not work correctly.
I have check up several NIC and WLAN Cards, also an AVM PCMCIA Controller Card. Nothing works.
Is this a a Hardware Issue or a Software Issue - must we send it again to Sony and pay for it ?
