PCV-RX301 Motherboard Processor upgrad

This model came with AMD athlon 1600 processor.

1. Can I upgrade the motherboard and processor to Pentium 4?
2. Does the Chassis accept the motherboard, which supports Pentium 4?
3. What else we need to change while upgrading to Pentium 4?
4. Does anyone suggest specific motherboard to this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes you can, just buy a motherboard and CPU.

Yes they're all usually standard ATX.

3. What else we need to change while upgrading to Pentium 4?

Memory unless you find a board that uses exactly the same RAM.

To be honest with you I would consider getting an AMD 64 processor, they're much better than Pentium 4.

Thanks for that. Does new motherboard allows to connect all the ports(firewire, memery stick reader which are at the front side) in the same manner?

Ah thats where there would be a problem, as it's got specific stuff for VAIOs.
