Problem with my wlan

The Problem is, I can't connect to my network, I've got the key and it doesn't work... but I can connect open networks.

I can't find the reason why I can use open networks but not my own.

:smileythinking: Can somebody please help me

Hi aalen and welcome to Club Vaio.

I'm afraid we will need more details - there are so many ways to connect wirelessly these days.

Are you using a Router - if so what make and model?
Have you run the setup program on the Router and set up a wireless network with a SIDD?
Have you run the wireless network wizard on your Vaio?
Can you connect using an network cable?

Are you using the wireless utility? Because Windows' options are pretty difficult.

i have tried both using the windows settings (set all the stuff to the same setting as on a different pc that is able to connect to the wireless lan) and the intel wlan utility wich did not work either.
