T2XP Hard Drive Replacement

Hi,

I need to replace the hard drive in my T2XP. Will any UATA 100 IDE notebook harddrive work or do I need a specific model?

Correct me if I'm wrong other TX2 users but if I remember rightly the hard disk is 1.8".

You're right it's 1.8", notebook's drive are 2.5" except for very rare ultraportable laptop like Sony TX. Max size option for now is 80GB from Toshiba but Toshiba announced availability of a 100GB in January.
If you decide to replace it be prepared for a lot of work as the laptop is to be almost completely dismantled to reach it.

Apple have the same hard disk in their iPods, and there's rumours of a 120GB iPod, so expect to be able to upgrade a little further on soon
