USB Ports

Hi All

I'm having some issues with my USB ports not finding any new hardware. I used to plug things in and it would find them automatically and tell me to insert CD and go ahead with driver install.

However, now it doesn't seem to recognise anything new and I'm at a loss! Everythings that's already installed seems to work okay. The problem seemed to start a few days ago after an automatic Windows update.......

Oh, it's an A115B by the way.

You could try deleting them/it in device manager and then rebooting.

If the update was SP2 you could try uninstalling it in add/remove programs.

You have probably done so already, but I did look on Vaio-Link and did not see any SP2 related.
