Vaio A215Z Screen Hinge Problem

Hi,

My 6 month old A215Z has developed a loose screen hinge. When the screen is in the normal position, it has about 1 inch of play back and forth before it engange the spring/any reisitance is felt.

Any idear how to fix it, dont really want to send if off for repair as it does not affect anything really.

Hummm, Whats Mastercare?

If i send it off, who do i call and how long will it take? Will they format my laptop?

I may just take the covers off, see what i can see....
