VAIO VGN-A217M WORTH TO BUY?

Hi,

I am thinking to buy a new VAIO VGN-A217M.. the question is addressed to people who has this laptop allready and to persons who knows alot about VAIO.. Does it worth to buy it or you recomand me a better model or which series? I prefer a CENTRINO CPU.

there is A317M, A317S, A417S.. latest model... and the difference between M and S is, S came with entertaintment docking station which included tv tuner and 2 speaker

The ones with S at the end are pretty cool, wouldn't mind one myself!

Just bought a A217S. The DVD drive broken down after just three days. Now waiting for Sonystyle to give me a replacement.

Make sure you are buying a new one with warranty. I am quite concern about the reliability of the unit.

I suggest you go to John Lewis you get 2-3 years warranty free
