VGN-X505VP in need of VGA output!

I've had my X505 for a couple of years now and still love her to bits, however, I've never needed to power a VGA driven digital projector before. Now I do need to do that, but as the X505 has no VGA port how can I drive a VGA projector?? Anyone in the know please??

Hi Subee and welcome to Club Vaio.

According to the VGN-X505VP SPECIFICATIONS you should have a VGA Monitor output.

However, I don't think you have a port on the Vaio itself - I think the X505 series laptops are supplied with an Ethernet/VGA Adapter to connect a monitor or projector.

Have a look at Page 59 of your X505 User Manual - it is a large .PDF file and will take a while to download.
