schnerch has a problem with his VP.
He has connect the VP with the Computer. But SonicStage doesn't recognizes the VP. Only Windows recognizes it as a HDD.
Any ideas?
original thread
reinstall sonicstage 2.1 from the cd provided, as this has the drivers for it. This will not overwrite any newer versions of sonicstage, unless you unistall them first. Or you could download the driver from VL. If this fails go to control panel, add hardware and follow the wizard. I had this problem and this solution worked for me.
Thanks:smileyhappy:
I'll tell him that.:smileycool:
It doesn't work.
I have said it would be better if they upgrade to SonicStage 3.1.:smileyconfused:
i cant suggest anything else, othe than contact vaio-link.
Maybe reinitializing.
He has installed the VP on the PC at work. And it works.
Could it be the problem, that he can't use the VP on the VAIO at home?
I don't see how. Try a system restore to a point before installing VP and try again perhaps??
mmh, thanks
I will tell him that.
Hi there
Is he running Windows XP ? If so, maybe installing this patch will help:

especially if he uses Windows Update and automatically installs updates from Microsoft onto his PC.
There is indeed a known problem about a Microsoft patch "breaking" OpenMG-related software (with various symptoms).
