White lines on screen

I have some white lines on the screen which seem to have been left when a window has been closed. Does anyone know how to remove these? Thanks

Hi mckinty,

To rule out an LCD problem can you try attaching an external monitor and see whether this exhibits the same problem?

Also, try right clicking an empty area of the desktop and select 'Refresh' - does this clear the white lines?
