wireless on B1VP

hello! wireless on the b1vp seems to work fine, i was wondering - where is the antenna located on the laptop and is it possible to attach an external antenna to increase the range?

The antenna I think is inside the screen's besel.

You can't add an extention.

although i have sometimes seen that ur hands working on the keyboard improve reception tremendously, its a fact!:smileylaugh:

to be honest, i was amazed at the reception! in my house i can pick up my own network, but i can also see about 3 other encrypted APs (which i don't connect to, obviously).. just thought it was pretty impressive!

i would like to add an external antenna for work though, as the laptop moves around the premises a lot and loses signal at the far end of the warehouse.

i guess the only option is to buy a PCMCIA wifi card with an external antenna port?

Yes, but I would test out a co-worker's card before purchasing.
