Is it possible to connect an Xbox 360 Elite and display the output via Sony VGN-Ar31S HDMI port?

I have a HDMI cable that came with the Xbox but I can't seem to locate anything that allows input via HDMI port?

I'm not quite sure what you are trying to do. Why not connect the Xbox direct to your display by HDMI? This will give the best quality picture.

You can only import analogue S-Video into your Vaio - so the quality will not be high and there will be unacceptable delays during gaming due to latency. There is no HDMI input.

We live in a Copyright Protection age - no equipment capable of recording will have a HDMI input to prevent piracy.
