Apps that have been transfered to SD card now don't run.

After updating the operating software last week any apps that have since been transfered to the SD card are not found after a reset or a long time being idle.

All apps that had been transferred before the update work fine.

Have tried downloading the app again and moving to SD card again but same issue happens.

This has also happened with apps that had worked before, then moved back to internal storage after they have updated and then moved back to SD card.

Is this a Glitch with the latest operating software??

Some where moved individually and some via the Transfer option.

@Christofer the test works turns out it is the SD card after all that has become corrupt. I'll be buying a new one today as can't format this one.

Thanks for you help.

Hi @Jayturnbull83, I'm sorry to hear this. Slightly_frowning_Face

I just want to make sure that I understood you correctly. Apps that you moved after the update won't run while apps that were moved before the update do, yes?

Thanks for getting back to me.

Yes that's right,

It was updating to software version 23.5.A.1.291

Does this happen with any app or just specific apps?

Just to clarify, you are not using a third party to move them to the SD card correct? apps such as apps2sd card.

@uliwooly

No just moving them via the setting/apps option or settings/storage option.

Have tried resetting the tablet, also unmounting and mounting the SD card again, but didn't work.
