After update 55.1.A.9.52 my device doesn't have "fingerprint settings" in the device security options. All apps that used my fingerprint for login now send me straightaway to "enter PIN". When I enter "service test" by typing the code *#*#7378423#*#* into the dail, the fingerprint test is not available.
My fingerprint sensor was working normally when I first got the phone on release date. Then it gradually began recognising my fingerprint less and less (which I found a lot of users complaining about the same problem). I resorted to the tactic of registering the same finger as different fingers to maximise the device's recognition and lived with that. But now after the update the fingerprint settings are nowhere to be found in the device.
