Spotify problem

Hi since I upgraded to the Xperia 5 from the XZ2 compact I have been experiencing problems with Spotify, once I lock the screen it will only play for 10 minutes at a time then it turns off and I have to unlock the screen to start it again. It also does the same when I'm playing the downloaded music thought Spotify, I have looked at all the settings for the phone and the app and I can't find what the problem is. Ian

hi@iantom,

one thing you could try is disabling battery optimization for Spotify. in order to do that, long press on the Spotify icon and tap the small (i) icon on the pop-up, and then go to Advanced > Battery > Power-saving feature > All apps, find Spotify on the list, and choose "Don't optimise".

if that doesn't change anything, then you'll probably have to bring it up with Spotify support, as it's a 3rd party app, so Sony can't do much about the way it works and behaves.
