Hi,
I am trying to install the Timelapse app on my Sony A7Rii incamera. All went well navigating through the screens until the last screen in which I am asked to confirm the purchase. I confirmed it. Then, I don't get any status bar of a download or anything. No e-mail. Just a screen that has a menu with the guidelines in it, cookies, health warnings and contact (in German). If I try and exit the screen or open one of the menu items it asks me whether I really want to navigate away form this page and stop the process. Does anyone know what's going on?

Are you able to download / install any of the free apps in-camera?

Yes I can install free apps. Just tried it. Your help is greatly appreciated, it needs to be functioning by tomorrow. Slightly nervous here...

As a potential short term fix have you tried installing the app
when connected to a PC?
When opening the playmemories app page its best to use Chrome or Explorer.
In the meantime I will contact those that may be aware
of any current issues with app purchasing.
I will post back as soon as I hear anything.
The trouble is that I have an issue with installing via my Mac, too. I run Chrome on a 10.11.6 El Capitan Mac. When I go to connect my camera a window pops up asking me to download and install the PMCA. I do it, it says it installed, then reboots the computer and I have an added extension in Chrome that says it allows me to use PlayMemories. But then I log back into Sony PlayMemories and click on install the Timelaps app and the sam window comes up prompting me to install the PMCA. I can't get past that window. Should I post this problem in the main forum?

Yes I've seen elsewhere that others have had trouble with installing apps using Macs / El Capitan

Sadly I dont have an instant fix for you.
There could be a number of problems that prevent app purchase including location, payment information etc. so I've been advised that the best way for you to deal with this is to contact
Playstation Newtork Support as they will be able to assist better.
