SLT-A55V DSLR

Hi there, I am new to DSLR and learning!

I have bought a SLT-A55V and would like to add a couple of lenses to my kit but am not sure if they are compatible. Can anyone tell me if Sony's  DT-11-18 wide angle and the DT-18-200 lenses are compatible with this model please? If they are not I would be grateful alternative suggestions.

I would advise doing some price comparisons online and having a look at the reviews and ratings that people have left (Amazon also usually has an extensive list of reviews for each lens and similar models). I would advise taking your camera body to a local photography store and trying out some lenses - it is a major investment that can exceed the original purchase cost and some branches will match genuine online prices so don't be afraid to ask (when I worked for a major photography retailer, bundling it with a memory card usually persuaded the boss to 'do a deal' but as they say, you have nothing to lose as you can order online :smileylaugh:).

Hi Simon,

Many thanks for that, it's a great help and much appreciated. I have already done some research on for the pricing as you suggested.

I will take your advice re taking the camera to a shop for trying out the lens and ask if they will match online prices.
