Hello
updated my BRAVIA KD-49XH9505BU to the latest FW, now everyday when I switch the TV on via the remote, which is linked to a sky + box through my AV system using earc on hdmi3, I get a blue screen saying input doesn’t support HDCP. If I then turn everything off/ on at the socket everything works perfectly. It seems like a handshake issue, but very frustrating and shouldn’t be happening. Any solutions?
thanks
Hey, there's a new software released today, use this link to update it manually: https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/lcd-tvs-android-xh95xx_x95xxh-series-49-85-/kd-49xh9505/d...
Thanks Hannah
I’ll download later, it appears to have resolved on its own somehow, a few days after contacting Sony customer service directly, so I have no idea what’s going on... as I did nothing to the TV, so all very strange, we’re seeing if it’s still maintaining handshake in a weeks time and going from there.
Thanks Paul
I spoke to soon... the problem has returned, I’ve updated to latest FW and the HDCP handshake issue is back...
not good

Hi, so sorry to hear this. It seems like an intermittent issue, try the factory reset: https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/televisions-projectors-lcd-tvs-android-/kd-49xh9505/artic...
Sometimes the update needs it to settle on the TV. Let me know if that helped.
