Bravia won't stay connected to wifi

I've just upgraded from standard broadband to fast fibre broadband and the TV refuses to stay 'stuck' with it. I log in to the network, TV says it has connected, then when I try to use Netflix or whatever, it says:
"you need to be connected to the internet to use this all" at which point it redirects me to the network logins - which say I'm connected!
This has been happening for about 4 days now - pretty much since my fibre upgrade, and I have managed to use Netflix quite a few times in this period, but it's very intermittent. Restarted router, TV and sometimes lucky, sometimes not.
All of my other devices, computers, pads, phones, Sonos system, all connect fine (and I can see watch Netflix on them, so not just a Netflix problem) so I'm chasing my tail here.
I've tried connecting via the dropdown network list, and via WPS and sometimes it's fine, sometimes not - but the TV always tells me it's connected.
My gut feeling is that I need to change some setting in the new router control panel for the TV, but not a clue what I need to do.
Any help greatly appreciated, it's starting to drive me up the wall now!
Thanks for reading.

Hi @Trevreav   What is the model number of your TV and which ISP/Router are you using?

Hi there, it's Sony KD-55X8509C (almost 3 years old), my ISP in the UK is Zen internet and the router as the Fritz!Box 7530.

Be gente with me - I'm rubbish at things like DNS settings etc. Treat me like a toddler!

Well SonyUser30yrs, it's a strange one.
I started hunting the internet yesterday, because the dropping of the connection was making the TV unusable. I could watch one Netflix episode, and as the next was about to start I would get the message: "you need to be connected to the internet to use this app", then I'd be running around in circles again - connecte, tells me it's not, then I check and I am etc.
ANyway, I came across something from 2014 which mentioned the Network Time in the TV settings, and to turn it off and vack on again, so I turned it to Broadcast time, and all seems fine! The TV and Netflix has been switched on and off maybe 5 or 6 times since then, and connected straight away.

It may be early days to say it's fixed - but any idea why something off-the-wall like Network time should cause a problem?
Anyway, thanks for your reply.
