I want to use AV1 or AV2 to input just an audio signal (without any video component(s)). I just get a message saying that there's no signal on the input. I know there is a perfectly good audio signal because if I do supply a video signal it all works fine. What I'm trying to do is input from a turntable to play through my sound bar. I used to be able to do this on my old Bravia TV but this new on (XF80 series) seems to insist on a video signal being present. Anyone got a way to get around this - other than actually supplying a video signal?
