When switching on I get an annoying pop up advertising Simba. I have discovered how to remove using my Sony controller but this only temporary-it reappears each time I switch on.

Please advise how this may be permanently removed as I have no interest.

Hi there

Can you please tell me if these instructions work:

For Android TV

1. Power on your TV.
2. On the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
3. Select Settings.
4. Select System Preferences.
5. Under System Preferences, select Interactive TV settings.
6. Select Disable.
   Note: If Interactive TV settings don't appear under the System Preferences category, perform a power reset, and then follow the steps below.

1. On the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
2. Select Settings.
3. Under the Settings, select TV.
4. Under the TV category, select Apps.
5. Select System apps.
6. Select Samba System Manager.
7. Select Forced Stop.
8. Select Yes.
9. Select Disable.
10. Select Yes.
