I have an satellite aerial system using 4 LNBs Quattro and 4 disecq.
When searching for channels I use full scan and assign diseqc positions A, B C and D to each satellite.
With my KDL-40W605B everything works very well and I get
1. Hotbird13E in Α
2. Astra19,2E in Β
3. Astra 23,5E in C
4 Astra 28,2E in D
Also it works for several satellite receivers with no problem.
However, when I do this using my TV KDL-32W600A it finds the following satellites
1. Hotbird13E in Α
2. Astra19,2E in Β
3. Hotbird13E in C
4 Astra19,2E in D
My has the latest available firmware PKG4.600EUA
Also the Sony Channel Editor v. 1.2.0 downloaded from the Sony Support Site doew not open the sdb.xml file from neither KDL-32W600A nor KDL-40W605B.
Any help?
Hey EvanSarris,
Did you try the usual? Unplugging everything and plugging again after two minutes, or a factory data reset?
Also regarding the channel editor, it needs to be opened on a PC, check the instructions for Windows here: https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/lcd-tvs-legacy-lcd-tv/kdl-32w600a/downloads/00016025
Thank you.
I did unplug everything, reset to factory settings and replug only required cables.
The Channel editor you suggest is the one I downloaded and tried to use.
Hey EvanSarris, try contacting a satellite specialist then?
