Hello all
Ive been seeing a couple of complaints recently in regards to WiFi connection issues on the Android TVs - more specifically the TV cannot see the SSID. What i would like to know is if this is a couple of random individual issues or a bigger issue on the whole.
If you are effected by this, can you please try the following and reply back.
- Power cycle the tv and your router. Then test to see if network appears
- Ensure that you have the latest firmware installed on your tv and then factory reset it. Does it now work?
- Can you test with an ethernet cable to see if the tv works off the wifi?
Can you please provide the following information
- The model of your TV?
- Which firmware version is your TV on?
- What brand/model is your router
- Any other relevent information you can think of?
- Are you trying to connect using 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz?
