How can I extend the recording time for more than 13 hours of uninterrupted recording on a DCR-SX15

Hi
I use a Sony DCR-SX15 for recording and analysis of technical equipment problems, but I have problems with the longest continuous recording limit of 13 hours, it is possible to get around this and extend the time.

Hello Sven-Ingvar - welcome to the Sony Forums

The continuous recording time is preset when the camera is manufactured so it is not possible to adjust this on the DCR-SX15. The camera will arrange a continuous recording into a series of 2Gb files on the memory card but the total recording time cannot exceed this amount.
