how to use the HDR-CX250E to make stop motion with monkey jam?

It does not appear in the list of cameras available in the software monkey jam ... I plug it to PC via HDMI or via the USB port ... I bought it to do stop motion and this model was recommended to me by a vendor of Fnac store!

Hi JackPrev, welcome to the Sony Forums

As far as I know, you need to use a Firewire connection with MonkeyJam. This could explain why your camera isn't recognised.

If you don't have a Firewire port on your PC you can usually fit a card quite cheaply.
