CONNECTIVITY

Hi guys, I am a 'newbie' so a big HELLO to you all, I am needing some advice off you smart people!! I am a big advocate of Sony, I have had a Dav s8880 surround system for years and I now have a Sony bdv 7100w, anyway the problem I have is that my bdv 7100w is connected to my tv( through Arc ) then my sky HD box is also connected to my tv and my android box as well( all with Hdmi ) so what happens is, when I turn on my tv it goes straight to live tv (through arial) instead of connecting to Hdmi 1, so I have to rectify this by changing it on my bdv to Hdmi 1 manually, is there a way around this or can I not sort this out? a friend told me it is because I only have one Hdmi out on my sky box and he advised me to get a 3 way splitter, but surely there has to be a simple reason. Thanks for taking the time in reading my post, any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Regards muvoda57

Hi Muvoda,

This will strictly depend on your TV, most TVs will automatically be on the last used input before being switched off. What's your TV?

Hi, Win_88, thank you for your reply, I have just upgraded my tv to a 43" uhd smart webos LG, I am not too pleased with it because my previous tv was a plasma and this thing is LED, so could the problem be with this tv then?  Regards muvoda57.

Hi muvoda,

There could be an option to set the priority of the input on start up. If you can't find it in the manual or in the menus you can try ringing LG for help.
