Is there a way to change the BD output mode without the menu?

I have a BDP-S350 which I have been happily using with a Sony HD TV via HDMI. I am temporarily without that TV, and wish to use the player with an older TV that only has SCART inputs. I've connected the video out to the SCART, but I can't currently get any picture because the BD player is set to HDMI output. However without a picture I can't see the on screen menus.

So is there any way to force the player to use the video out without going via the on-screen menus?

If not then it seems a bit of a failing for anyone who changes display devices without planning in advance!

Thanks for any help.

Paul

OK. I've found the answer on another forum. Press and hold the 'stop' button for more than 10s to reset the video output to lowest resolution.

Not sue why that's not on the FAQ on the Sony site - it would be useful.
