Problem connecting S1100 to the internet using ethernet cable

i have just purchased the blue ray player bdp

-S1100  i am trying to connect it to the internet with a ethernet cable as per instructions but it keeps coming up physical connection ok  internet access failed any body got any suggestions i would be gratefull for any help as i am not very I T orientated  thank you    TOMMY

Hi there

Select Setup from the home menu and goto Easy Network Settings and follow the on screen instruction.  I cant remember what they are, but choose auto for everything.  If it mentions DHCP choose that.
