Are there any BDP-S370 users out there who can still use it for BBC iplayer and other UK steaming services?
With reference to your enquiry regarding your Sony BDP-S370, please be advised that the list of available applications are constantly updated with time depending on the updates done on the applications.
Furthermore, please be advised that any terminations or disruptions for any of the third party applications installed on our devices are being triggered by the third party supplier.
For the current time being, unfortunately the BBC iPlayer application is not available for your device. We’re sorry to learn you have been told else at the point of sale.

Nermine,
Please explain why this application is not available on this device. When it was sold to me by Curry’s, it quite clearly stated that BBC iplayer was available, along with other UK video streaming apps. Also in the thread I mentioned this problem was fixed for other customers who had this same device and same problem.

I can confirm the serial number is 1008831
The video streaming internet apps you list below are not the ones that came with this product and I think are intended for Germany.

It looks as though others experienced the same fault but a fix seems to have been applied.
Please can you apply this same fix for me so that I can view BBC iPlayer and other UK video services.

Hello
I have a Sony BDP-370 Bluray player about 6 years old. It used to have BBCi player, youtube and other UK video streaming apps but never really worked well so I resigned it to the cupboard replacing it with a Samsung unit.
I have started using it again after a couple of years of no use and now I cannot see any UK video streaming apps. There are some German (i think) apps.
I note from an old topic from 2010 "Can't see iplayer on BDP-S370" that some units purchased in the UK actually had software installed for other countries.
I apear to be one of those victims. Mine has a UK plug, BBC iplayer sticker and it used to work. But after trying all the fixes recomended, UK video streaming icons do not populate on my device.
I have the latest firmware installed.
I have reset both system settings, personal settings and router ( I have a BT Hub3)
Please can anyone provide a solution!
