usb playback

hi All

i wonder if someone can think of a reason why an avi file (divx5 and mp3 gspot analysis attached) on a usb stick plays ok on a sony bdp-s570 but shows as 'file corrupt or unsupported' on a sony bdp-s580, from what i can find both machines support the same codecs etc. any help would be much appreciated tks and rgds

they did!!, one was a 570 and the other a 580.
