Editing the Dictionary

I apologise if I have missed the answer in the exisiting discussion, but I would like to edit the dictionary on my Xperia Arc (LT15i). I have only just disabled 'learn words' and have a too many wrongly spelt words in the dictionary for my first few months with the phone.

Any advice/guidance would be appreciated

You can't edit and remove words selectively but if you wish to remove them, you will have to remove em all

Settings > applications > manage applications > all > International keyboard > clear data

Thanks Nabeel for the advice.

Being a novice, how do I restore the factory default dictionary after I have cleared the data?

By clearing data your dictionary will automatically restore itslef to default settings..

May i know what you want ?

Thank you Nabeel, you're a star!

I was frustrated with a series of incorrectly spelt words that I had not spotted in my texts, I know that I should always check before pressing send, but sometimes I was a little trigger happy!

All back to normal now - thanks.

I thought that as it was called a smartphone their must be a way of removing the rubbish inputted by the user without having to delete the entire memory (as I saw in one discussion, but not for the ARC)

Thanks again - one novice user
