I have connected a BT Yourbox to this TV. It all works well except when I switch the TV off and back on, I have to "find" the HD channel again. Is there any way of making this the default channel at switch-on?
Thank you.

Hi there
I have delved deeper into this further. The button you are pressing is the Input Select button. This basically tells the TV to change from TV mode, to a device that is connected to the TV. In many cases this is normal.
------------------------
However if you have connected the YouView box via a SCART cable, there is something you can do to (hopefully) automate this process. According to your TV's manual, it states:
Digging even further, I decided to figure out what is a fully wired 21-ping SCART lead, and why you would need one. According to the wiring of the SCART lead (pic below), take a look at PIN 8. PIN 8 is for Function Switching.
Researching what function switching means in regards to a SCART lead, gives me this:
----------------------------------------
So basically, according to the information above, to have the TV automatically switch to the correct Input source (when switching on the YouView Box), you will need a FULLY WIRED 21-PIN SCART LEAD.
I have manage to find a couple on Amazon:

Hope that helps

Hi there
Is it the TV that is asking to find HD channels or is it the YouView box?
What default channel at switch on? Are you meaning the YouView box?
Cheers
Sorry for delay, lots of problems with my broadband. When I switch TV on, comes up with a blank screen with 01 in the top righthand corner. when I press the button immediately below the green on/off button on the remote control, screen clears and quickly comes up with the Youview screen. Thanks for your interest.
