I have tried to get screen mirroring working between these two devices with no success from the point of view of desktop mirroring.

Mirroring photos and video works but surely I should be able to view my full desktop as if it is connected via HDMI wirelessley?

Hi there

I dont know anything about the configuration of VAIOs and your model, however as far as I understand, you need Windows 8.1 as well as a network card that supports Miracast.

Thanks for the reply and the link.

All the hardware seems correct.

I have tried all those checks and I get as far as seeing the laptop seeing the tv but i do not get the insert password screen.

Any additional help would be gratefully received.
