Just got my pocket player, can anyone help and explain how to download the album covers, not very impressed with instructions. Too basic for a novice user such as myself. Not impressed with the headphones supplied either, I am using the ones from my cd atrac walkman, also having probs with remote contol, keep listening to same track, can't seem to set it to shuffle and it only plays the track once then stops!!:smileyhappy:

The only way to add an album cover is from SonicStage program. Conor465 described it, but I'll describe a more accurate one!
In SonicStage, right click on an album or playlist or track, then choose properties. There is a section for album cover which you can choose add and then browse the picture and that's it!
For remote, Use the right navigation key with "ENTER" text on it. If you push it up several times, then the shuffle/repeat option will change which you can see on remotes LCD as well as VP's LCD. and you can find out which icon means what in VP's manual. If you want the real manual, go and find it and download it from this website, which is full of helpful tips and tricks, especially for a new VP owner
Diablo wat website do you use to get your cover art?
Another alternative to using SS would be to use a 3rd party peice of software, such as Musicmatch jukebox and to import the tracks into SS. This is assuming that you don't mind using mp3 rather than atrac.
Using musicmatch automatically adds the album art during the rip, which is then recognised by SS, thus saving the effort of finding and assigning art via SS/amazon/hmv/etc...
I usualy use Amazon to find album covers, but sometimes I download albums from less known or even unknown artists which makes it difficult to find the album cover.
Thanks for info , Janpig
have a look at www.slothradio.com/covers . it isnt the most well-broadcasted place to find album covers, but its much simpler to use than going on Amazon each time! It a very good search engine that searches Amazon for you basically. Hope it helps.
