AR21S BLU-RAY playback problems...

First of all Hello to all on the forum
Had my laptop for a few months just got my first Blu-ray film had real problems trying to get it to play with windvd hanging and crashing my whole COM,read some things on the forum which ive tried including putting settings back to factory still no luck in getting playback!

Please help as am depressed enuff us i cant afford a ps3 today
The disk is region1 Rocky Balboa(have changed my region to 1 aswell)

Hi radiodead1974 and welcome,

Have you downloaded the updates for your AR21S from HERE :

1. Your Blu-Ray Drive Firmware (make sure you use the right one!!)
2. WinDVD BD (Listed under OTHER)

It is also worth checking from within WinDVD BD (Help Menu) for updates from Intervideo.

Thanks for the help,ive got the blu-ray film running now which is a start:)
Playback off trailers and menu ids flawless,film playback however is strange with sound dips and speeding up of the frames then back to normal!
Rome wasnt built in a day ,anyways thanks again...
