Argh!!!! No Serial Number

Guys

i have been using my laptop as a LAP top and the sodding serial number has only been rubbed away now i cant find the drivers i need from vaio.net as i cant find my serial number anywhere...

where can i find this???

Don't worry about this.:smileywink:

You can't find the serial number in the BIOS. (click F2 if you can see the VAIO-Logo)
Or you can look at the Sony Notebook Setup (Start > All Programs > Sony Notebook Setup)

hmm you means your laptop serial no?.. try turn over your laptop and see if there is a piece of paper with the serial no stick at the bottom?:smileygrin:

I have seen this happen, and Seb's right, you can see it in the BIOS, so note it down somewhere safe.
