Hi,
My Vaio Notebook k215z shows the remaining time of the battery incorrect (4h remaining and after 30 mins shows 2h10m) is that an issue? Or is normal.. is there an application or a driver to fix this?
Thank you.
then with that utility i wont gain so much time to use my batteries?
I still have one question which i dont understand why the time for battery is very "relative" when the battery is full charged it shows to me 4h and after some time it shows me fewer..the leap is too much.
Ewww thats bad 😞 i thought it must be a driver or at least an utility to do that 😞 I am very disapointed by this then. So there's nothing to be done by me?
How can I deactivate this
I have deactivate the energy safe mode on my harddisc,
You need the "Feature Tool(v1.97)" It create a Boot Floppydisc or a bootable CD. If you have started the tool, I would read the helpfile first.
If you want use the "Power Booster", then you can change the power settings too. (But from Windows). I have tried the PowerBooster but I can't find any different. So, I prefer the "Feature Tool"

I am reading the PDF file.. and whats with the accustic feature? is it really good or it can harm my hdd..
My hdd temp is 48c now.. is it good?
I wont use Power Booster as now you confirmed me that it doesnt save more power..
You can reduce or higher the seek time a little bit. But the differents are minimal.
is it really good or it can harm my hdd..Hitachi wouldn't make tools which would harm a HDD.
My hdd temp is 48c now.. is it good?
Thank you very much for the help... too bad that SONY did nothing for the BATTERY INDICATOR to be more accurate.. but i think they will never want to fix this..
Do you know if they will also write a firmware update for my DVD UJ-820D for enableing Double Layer Burning.. as they allready did for other devices.. for the same K215Z notebook which i have and comes with 2 diffrent dvds..
Is it wise to take out the battery from my laptop when i dont use it often? Like for example i use it once a week.. is it better to take it out and put it in a safe place? Or my battery will lose the ability to store power?
Any advice will be good for me..
Thank you
