BATTERY TIME INCORRECT

Hi,

My Vaio Notebook k215z shows the remaining time of the battery incorrect (4h remaining and after 30 mins shows 2h10m) is that an issue? Or is normal.. is there an application or a driver to fix this?

Apple provide some guidelines for looking after your notebook battery that will apply to all notebooks.

Oh dear and i allways stored it fully charged .. i think i read somewhere that this way is better for the VAIO battery 😞
Then i did a stupid thing.. so the best way to store it is to be fully discharged?
I will read the apple instructions for batteries

The best way to store it is at 50% charge.

I read at apple that the best way to store it is to discharge at 50% and not more.. as the batteries discharge more and more with time and it will become impossible to charge it again...
