bluetooth problem...

Hello!

I have a Vaio zx1sp notebook and I would like to connect it to my network through bluetooth. However the bluetooth software from vaio does not seem to be able to do this.

I was able to connect my ipaq to my pc's lan through bluetooth and I am surprised that I can't do this with my new laptop. Does anybody has a solution for this? I know that I can connect the laptop through wi-fi but it should be able to connect to networks through bluetooth also.
My PC is equiped with anycom usb dongle which has this service but bluespace recognises it as "unknown".

Thanks.

Why would you want to connect via Bluetooth?

Bluetooth sucks so bad! 723kbi/s technically max. while WLAN gets an average 5-6MBit/s throughput.

The Z1 only supports BT connection to other PCs, but not tp Access Points, I believe.

Please consider using the WLAN, and please drop your Pocket PC and rather settle for the awesome PEG-TH55

I want to connect with bluetooth because I don't have wlan on my pc.

Anyway I fixed the problem:

I've got rid of the bluespace which suxx badly and makes bluetooth to seem useless.

I have installed xp service pack 2 that supports network connections via bluetooth and it works like a charm. Anyway my inet connection is 512kbps and I don't feel the speed difference.

I won't get rid of my ipaq because I just bought it and it's great!!!!
