CD/DVD drive removal

Can somebody give me some tips to remove the dvd drive from a k115z as mines on the way out and need to replace it,or point me to a help page .Thanks

We have had this question before but never had a good response. Still perhaps someone new will come up with a practical guide.

Meanwhile all I can offer is this EXPLODED DIAGRAM of your model - I hope it helps.

Cheers for that, have worked out how now.Anybody want to know you just remove the 2 case screws directly under the drive,remove the hard drive and there is 2 more small screws remove these and the drive slides out,.Next question is anyone know if there is a better compatable drive I can install?
