hi all
my Vaio VGN-NS10L has failed after 1yr3days
it came with Vista Pre-installed with no other disc's
i have tried recovery disc's that were made on first boot;
in Vaio diag test;
CPU OK
Ram OK
HDD not detected
checked BIOS setup
tried repair option ? still not booting up
Restore :C Drive / get error 403
Full System Restore / get error 334
so i'm now left with replacing the HDD and buying a new OS disc after one year
any suggestions or HELP would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like the HDD needs replacing, this could also explain the 403 error..:smileysad:
Have you replaced the HDD in your Vaio.?

If your vaio is only just out of the warranty period it may be worth contacting Vaio support as they may still be able to help, to find contact details for Sony Vaio support..
Open Vaio support, either by clicking Support at the top of this page or use the following link:Vaio support
Under Log-in option 1: Enter your vaio models serial number, which you should find on the bottom of your Vaio.
Then click Log-In
Once logged select Get In Touch
