Does anyone know how to get rid of this stubborn "File Download" from MSN?

Hi everyone;

I was wondering if any of you had similar experience to what I am having!!

Every time I try to sign on to Hotmail, I get a stubborn window for "File Download¿ which I can't get rid of!!! :devil:

There are two option in that window "Save" and "Cancel". As there is no option for "more information", I click "Cancel" all the time.

I have contacted MSN and Hotmail regarding that and was told that ¿they could not help as they don¿t know what this file is!!!

I am quite surprised that none of the Antivirus or firewalls that I have in my PC could stop this window from reappearing!

The following are the descriptions::

"File Download -Security Warning"
Name: ADSAClient31
Type: Unknown file Type, 96.0KB
From: rad.msn.com

Please help if you know how I can clear this problem :cry: :cry: :cry: Thanks

I have no idea what it is but don't download it.

The size of it it could well be a trojan.

Try disabling the Messenger Service ¿ this has nothing to do with Windows Messenger.

Start > Run > type services.msc > press OK > Double click on Messenger > Select disable to prevent Messenger from loading automatically the next time Windows starts.

This, for me, stopped all kinds of unwanted messages .

Best thing to do is go into ur C: drive and get rid of MSN and then make sure its got rid by going in to the Control pannel and uninstall it from there. plus the go on to internet properties and do a reset on the internet properties and make sure u get rid of your cookies because it may remmeber the address.

ather all that then cheek out ur hotmail then install msn.

It may be a file thats incrupped.

This may help i dont no but give it ago and see if it will work...

If not i hope it will work soon,

Paul
