List of Suggestions

Maybe we can group a list of suggestions we think could be an improvement for future firmwares or accessories. Someone could be reading on the other side?

My list would be:

- Add a USB cable with the Vaio pocket (avoiding to carry the base with you) This also helps to the Hard Disk functionality.
- More edition options (edit titles, change order of songs in a group, track number order, etc...)
- Mosaic photo search similar to the by album cover searching)
- Delete a song from the Vaio pocket.
- Case that can be placed in the trousers belt, for example.
- Read Avi / mpg (I dunno if this is possible in any way)
- A FM radio... could be external, in the headphones, like some MP3 players have.
- There is no way i can display the lirycs. Does someone can?
- Titles or names for the Photo Folders.
- Possibility to add the album cover to an existing album in the Vaio pocket (not always from the Sonic Stage).
- We have a clock. Why not an alarm? Let's wake up with a Vaio spirit (jesssus....)
- Skin Editor.

- More Playing Lists, with titles, or maybe play M3U files?

they beat you to one of them - look under clock settings (under settings, natch) and you'll find a power on timer and a sleep timer... now if only it was repetitive, so you didn't have to reprogram the time, but now i'm getting greedy...

You are right. I didn't think about that.
Yesterday, I thought about a new feature:

When you edit a Favourites List, you can move the songs and change the order... just 1 position. So, if you want to move it in a large list, it takes like hours!

Other important things:

- To can copy MP3 files from our VP to the computer
- To can do ZOOM in the gallery of images
- Soft case for belt IRL? Where is it?! Please pleaseee come to me
- Lyrics for songs... ejem... ejem... "quemeloexpliquen" jajajaja

one thing i think should be re worked:

on my vaio at the moment i have 1 song by ash, from a compilation album i bought, but when i go into ash's menu in the artist menu, it says that i have 21 songs by ash, it just groups all the songs on the compilation album as ash songs, even though they are by different artists.

this doesnt affect play back or anything its just abit annoying when looking for just one song.

if you don't understand what i have said, try putting a compilation album on your vaio and then see for your self.

I'm having some problems with the ID3 tags in some songs.
So here goes some sujestions about it:

1 - Import the lyrics from the MP3 to ATRAC when converting and allow the use of existing lyrics in MP3 on the device.

2 - Create an "on the road" adaptor to substitute the craddle. Thouth the craddle ain't big, it would be better to have something more portable when you want to use the device as a hard disk in some other PC or to connect a camera a transfer the images

3 - How about have some cool screen savers? And a screen saver editor? Allow the same use as with skins. It would look really cool.

4 - Protective skins. I find the available ones for iPOD really cool and handy. Could you make some for the VP too?

look fiction edge no offense or anything but sony doesnt look in this forum and probably will never see these expectations...

even so, why would the company care that much when the only accessory there is for the vp is a carry case?

Why wouldn't they look at it? It is in their site anyway... besides it doesn't pay to try :smileygrin:
Maybe I'm a dreamer, but I think if Sony is smart enouth they are watching all we say here regarding their products. Hei! We're the guys that bouth their products, right?

i understand your thoughts but there have been some posts about this topic before and someone had emailed sony which said this forum is not watched by the company people,which agrees to the fact that the forum is very "free"...

they should be watching it if you want my opinion but they dont.
maybe emailing them will be better in your case but again it will lead nowhere!
