i have a DVD RW DW-U54A in my laptop. it wont read many dvd's wether they are movies or discs with data on. I bought Half life 2 which is a DVD-ROM disc and that does not work on it. On the side of the writer is a RW logo. I bought dvd rw discs and it wont see those. In all my cases, if a disc is in the drive that it does not like, even if its empty , dvd film or ram or rom, i open up a new window fo the drive and it shows nothing in there. Any helpers???
