engraving...?

just a small quirk i was interested in, as they offer name engraving in the US with new AR series

any idea if they offer this in the uk? i think it would so put off people trying to resell stolen laptops (as my old laptop was stolen a few weeks ago...)

Unfortunately I don't think that option is available in Europe, not sure why though..

Perhaps a local engraver/jeweller may be able to help..

Get an ultraviolet pen and mark it yourself, then the police can use a special light to see it.

Good idea Kee-Lo but it doesn't look as good as engraving.

My opinion on this subject is "a thief isn't going to stop to see if a name is printed on a laptop" so as far a engraving in concerned its not really a deterrent. You also have to think about when you want to sell the laptop.. Would someone want to by a laptop from you with your name stamped all over it...?
