error message

Hi all,

I have a VAIO VPCEA1S1E  running windows 7 that is under a year old, and have recently been getting a blue screen error message saying system_service_exceptional.

I reboot and there are no issues, but I'm a little concerned why i'm getting this come up.

I'm not very computer literate, so any if there are any suggestions please write simply for me to understand!!

Hi Angela,

Have you downloaded and installed all the updates from Sony for your model?

In particular, have you updated Vaio Update 5.1.1.04090 and the Intel Graphics Driver 6.15.10.2040?

Hi Blencogo,

Thanks for the suggestion.  I have just run Vaio Care and am shown as fully up-to-date with everything.  If i get the screen again I will try to copy more information down about the error message.
